Explain text
Highlight any phrase or paste it in to get a plain-language explanation in three sentences or fewer. Works for idioms, figurative language, archaic expressions, dialect, and anything confusing. Grounded in the context of what you have already read.
Chat
Ask any question about the book. Get an answer based only on what you have read.
Ask anything
The Chat tab is a conversation with an expert literary companion who knows your exact reading position. Ask anything: who has which job in the story, why a character acted a certain way, what a specific passage means, how two characters are connected. You will get a thoughtful answer based only on what you have read so far.
Follow up on insights
Every insight tab has a Chat about this button. Click it to switch to Chat with that insight as context. Ask follow-up questions directly about what Readwimmy just generated — go deeper on a theme, ask about a character mentioned in the summary, explore a question raised by the discussion prompts.
Conversation memory
Your chat history is saved and continues exactly where you left off every time you return to the book. Up to one hundred messages stored per book. Clear the conversation at any time if you want to start fresh.
Context and control
Make every insight more personal by including your own notes and highlights.
Include your notes and highlights as context
When generating any AI insight, choose to include your saved notes and highlights as additional context. Select all or pick specific ones individually. The AI incorporates what you noticed and marked into its response, making insights genuinely personal to your reading experience rather than generic.
